Some errors have been published in three tables in the CME article “Congestive Heart Failure—Perioperative Risk Assessment and Therapeutic Consequences” by Vera von Dossow et al. in issue 5:

  • In Table 1a, a detail relating to the EMPEROR trial is incorrect. The “primary endpoint” refers to only “hospital admission for heart failure,” not just any hospital admission.
  • The title of Table 1b is not consistent with its contents. The correct title should read: “The main class I and II recommendations on drug treatment for heart failure with moderately reduced ejection function (HFmEF).”
  • In Table 1c, as regards the study by McMurray, the drug class should correctly be listed as ARNI (angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor), rather than ARB (angiotensin II receptor blocker, sartans).
